  The annual Remembrance Sunday Service outside of St Mary’s at the cenotaph will be taking place this Sunday, at 10.40 am, outside the main doors to the church in St Mary’s Close.

• Top rating for Food Hygeine

  Gunter has retained it's 5 star rating for Food Hygiene following an unannounced inspection in October 2019.

  

• Attendance update

  The Education Legal Intervention Team has asked us to let you know that a Gunter parent was recently taken to court over their child’s non attendance at school, and has been fined a total amount of £155.  This reflects the importance of your child being in school everyday and not taking term time holidays.

  Child Arrangement Order

  Adoption Order

   

  Please contact school and ask to speak to Emma Jones or Maria Somerville (Designated Teachers for Post-LAC) and discuss your situation in confidence. You are not obliged to inform school but we may be able to support your child more effectively if we are aware.

  WOW!  A HUGE £176 was raised for Gunter's PTA from the clothing donations - AMAZING!  Thank you!  And thank you to Bernie and Sarah Ragg who got very wet loading it all onto the van this morning - with their band of merry child helpers.

  

• Gunter goes paper free!

  Don't forget, we are now a paper free communication school, which mean newsletters etc. will come home via email from now on.  They will also appear on this website on the newsletter page.

  Please make sure the office has at least one up to date email address for you - and a current mobile phone number too, as we will send out text reminders when there is a letter to be read online.

• Gunter School Nursery update

  We have received notification this morning that the proposal to close Gunter's nursery class has been approved, and it will therefore close as of the 31st August this year.
