World Book Day 2024
Year 1 had an amazing World Book Day. We loved reading lots of books together throughout the day. We were very excited to be read a special story by Mrs. Higgins. She read ' Somebody Swallowed Stanley.' A story about a plastic bag that makes its way into the ocean. We used this book as a stimulus to discuss how we can do our bit to keep our oceans clean. We followed this up with some fun craft activities based around ocean creatures.
