We worked so hard using joins to create stable models. We also used different paint mixing to create shades abd tones, then used paintbrush techniques to add detail.
We loved sharing stories and dressing up as our heroes or people we are grateful for!
We explored all the ways we use maths in our daily life. We decided it would be very difficult to live without maths. We also did some maths artwork!
Year 3 had a fantastic day out at Slimbridge last week. We heard Ava's story, saw lots of birds, completed nature activities and even ate lunch with a crane! Now we are looking forward to becoming guardians of the wild and completing the rest of our nature activities! We will be getting messages from Ava about her migration too.
Parent Lunch April 2024
It was lovely to have lots of parents join us for our parent lunch today, the children really enjoyed having their families there!
World Book Day 2024
Year 3 have had an exciting world book day in school! We loved our class story ''there's a Rang-Tan in my bedroom''. It linked to our rainforest topic, and we learned some more about the problems with Palm oil. We also loved sharing stories with year 2, as well as our assembly from the RSPCA.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
