Our Sports Council meet every week to plan and organise a variety of new and exciting sporting competition events to be held every Monday and Tuesday lunchtime for any children that would like to participate.
This popular lunchtime club is planned, organised and run by specially selected Year 5 and 6 pupils with the help and support of Mrs Baker.
We also have Y5 playleaders available every lunchtime to lead exciting playground games and activities.
Gunter's Sports Council's first job this year was to organise and run the Children in Need activities on Friday 18th November, along with our School Council and Play Leaders.
The day was a HUGE success, with children coming to school dressed spotty and sporty, ready to join in lots of multiskills activities.
Children were asked to collect sponsorship money for the charity, and so far our total raised is a MASSIVE £1515!
Well done Sports Council!
