Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum 2013. Cross curricular themes are developed where links enhance and expand the children's studies. Key stage 1 has themes set for alternate years. History / Geography are covered in alternate half-terms. Art/D.T. is often applied to the themes, with additional time for developing skills / other work, (e.g. Christmas). Music and P.E. have their own independent schemes of work. Religious Education is described in Birmingham LA 'Agreed Syllabus'. If required the themes may be completed at different times to those stated above - occasionally themes may change when there is advantage to do so, (e.g. when the Olympic Games occur).
